This is the McDonalds Digital Menu Board project that includes scheduling and installing TV monitor and media servers in 12,000+ McDonalds locations across the country.
Project Coordinator Overview
This position reports to the Manager of Project Management in Professional Services, and is responsible for coordinating project tasks and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high-level of customer satisfaction. Projects will typically include researching alternate connectivity transport, providing installation status updates and support on failed installations. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining individual and departmental goals set by Professional Services management.
Job Description:
The contractor will be working in our SalesForce, McSpot, Ship Page and CallTracker systems to schedule site surveys and installations for the DMB project. They will make phone calls to the end users and send follow-up e-mails as well as complete out orders and conduct quality checks on documentation provided by our contractor.
• Interfacing with key corporate and individual owners to define scope of solution, manage internal and external customer communications, keep projects focused, on schedule and within budget.
• Research alternate connectivity vendors as needed or requested.
• Work with customers, management, and members of other departments to identify and assign resources, proactively document and implement process enhancements as needed to ensure positive customer experience and overall customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, customers and professional services management to define and understand project requirements and customer satisfaction issues.
• Delegating cross-departmental tasks as appropriate to ensure timely resolution of escalations.
• Provide reports as needed for tracking work flow, and other metrics as requested by management.
• Communicating with the customer and Wayport teams to track and manage the progress and problems for each project.
• Provide status information to internal and external customers on a regular basis.
• Manage special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in successfully coordinating large-scale projects. Understanding of Networking, IP Addressing, Wireless and Wired applications. Ability to work on multiple projects and bring each to a timely completion. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. The ability to sustain a high level of integrity and accuracy in data and communications. Must be able to work in a distributed environment with minimal day-to-day direction. Must be self-motivated and aggressive in achieving goals and objectives. Working knowledge of MS Project, MS Access and MS Excel. Associate Degree or PMI certifications preferred.
