Position: Network Architect

Duration: 12 + Months Contract

Location: DETROIT, MI 

 

Project Description:
Candidate is responsible for guiding the evolution of the IP Telephony architecture (Lead Voice Architect, Lead Voice Engineer) for a Fortune 50 customer. Responsibilities include working with a team of senior network architects, making recommendations on key technology, architecture and vendor decisions, driving a common vision in a multi-supplier global environment, and ensuring enforcement of key policies and practices across the infrastructure via network audits. Candidate is also responsible for acting as a network architecture advocate on behalf of the customer in helping manage multiple network suppliers, and resolving complex issues that may arise in this environment. Candidate must possess the following: Cisco telephony, CCVP, CCIE(Voice), Stable work record, have 5-10 years solid work experience with a company.

Manager prefers candidate to be in Detroit, MI or its surroundings as in Southfield, MI or Lansing MI or the midwest region: Chicagoland area (Hoffman Estates, IL), Cleveland, OH, Indianapolis,IN. Manager would also consider Middletown, New Jersey.
Candidate must understand that for the first 3 months would need to work out of Detroit, MI once knowledgeable of job manager will allow to work at assigned work location.
