Software configuration manager

Required:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong hands-on experience with the following software configuration management tools: Rational ClearCase (REQUIRED)
Heavy experience developing complex automated build frameworks within the PC, Unix (AIX) environments with tools like but not limited to shell scripting, perl, sql, ANT, and MakeFile.
Very good understanding of producing deployable units for J2EE and Oracle environments (.war, .ear, sql, dml, ddl),
Ample experience with, MS-DOS batch scripts, Unix shell scripting (Korn shell), SQL, Perl, Java, etc.
Solid understanding of configuration management best practice principles.
Knowledge of Clearquest, html, web scripting, java script.
General technical knowledge and deploying to IBM Websphere application server, Oracle 10g/11g databases.
Trouble shooting skill, problem solving.


Experience

2 or more years of experience with hands-on development of large, complex, configuration management efforts specifically involving multiple development teams and platforms (J2EE, and Oracle).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Provided software configuration support for at least one (2) full SDLC implementations as a hands-on engineer with complete responsibility for all software configuration requirements.


Education

BA or Masters Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field from a recognized college or university.
